The Institute of Theological Sciences comprises three departments: Department of Biblical Theology and Church History, Department of Systematic Theology and Department of Practical Theology.
Areas of research: engagement and marriage (psychological-theological determinants of quality and durability of relationships), psychology and pastoral theology, psychology of religiosity, educational and school psychology, psychology of addiction, crisis intervention (suicidology), neuroscience, catechesis, comparative theology of Christianity and Buddhism, history of the Catholic Church in Western Pomerania and the Central Odra Region, theological anthropology, Christology, ecumenical dialogue, logic and philosophy.
