Programmes taught in Polish:
Faculty of Theology, established by the Holy See, is an integral organisational unit of the University of Szczecin. In its scientific and didactic activity it is governed by the regulations binding for state higher education, the University’s Statute and The Catholic Church regulations, contained in church documents.
The decree to establish the Faculty in Szczecin was issued on 9.08.2003. The agreement was signed at the Ministry of National Education and Sport on 9.01.2004. The Central Commission for Degrees and Titles decided to grant the Faculty of Theology of the University of Szczecin the right to confer the academic degree of habilitated Ph.D. in theological sciences as of 24 February 2014.
The Faculty of Theology offers courses in the following fields of study: theology and familiology.
On June 29th this year, the university-wide graduation ceremony was held for the sixth time in the university’s history. The event took place in the University of Szczecin auditorium on Krakowska Street and remains one of the most significant highlights on the academic calendar.
