    The first meeting of the international advisory board of the UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Social Development, operating at the Doctoral School of the US, was held on 27 June 2023.

    The meeting with researchers from Albania, Montenegro, Egypt, Spain and Italy was attended by representatives of the University of Szczecin: dr hab. Kinga Flaga-Gieruszyńska, prof. US – Vice-Rector for US Organization and Chair of the International Advisory Board, prof. dr hab. Andrzej Skrendo – Vice-Rector for Science, US, dr hab. Maciej Kowalewski, prof. US – Head of the UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Social Development, dr hab. Angelo Rella, prof. US – Rector’s Plenipotentiary for Cooperation with Universities and Other Entities in Western Europe and the Mediterranean Basin, Dr. Norbert Obrycki – Chairman of the Steering Committee of the UNESCO Chair and Agnieszka Skrycka, MA – Head of the Project Department.

    The meeting concerned the areas of future scientific cooperation, and the new members of the International Advisory Board were: Dr. Amira El-Deeb, Prof. Yuri Bilan, Prof. Giovanni Dotoli, Prof. Gaetano Dammacco, Prof. Mercedes Arriaga Florez, Prof. Helene Harth, Prof. Xenophon Krisafi, Prof. Vesna Kilibard, Prof. Cristina Hermida del Llano, Prof. Skender Topi, Prof. Sebastiano Valerio.
