    Swimmers from the University of Szczecin brought numerous medals from Polish academic swimming championships held in Lublin this year. 900 athletes from 80 universities including academic champions, world championship medalists and future Olympians took part in the competition.

    The open category:

    • Gold – Klaudia Tarasiewicz – 200 freestyle,
    • Bronze – Klaudia Tarasiewicz – 200 backstroke,
    • Bronze – women’s 4×50 freestyle relay – Karolina Faszczewska, Milena Możdżan, Polina Holoborodko, Klaudia Tarasiewicz,
    • Bronze – 4×50 freestyle mix relay – Krystian Czeszewski, Polina Holoborodko, Klaudia Tarasiewicz, Kacper Kolańczyk,
    • Bronze – men’s 4×50 medley relay – Wiktor Kędzia, Jakub Aleksander, Krystian Czeszewski, Kacper Kolańczyk.

    The universities category:

    • Gold – Klaudia Tarasiewicz – 200 freestyle,
    • Gold – Wiktor Kędzia – 100 backstroke,
    • Gold – men’s 4×50 medley relay – Wiktor Kędzia, Jakub Aleksander, Krystian Czeszewski, Kacper Kolańczyk,
    • Silver – Kacper Kolańczyk – 100 freestyle,
    • Silver – Krystian Czeszewski – 50 backstroke,
    • Silver – 4×50 freestyle mix relay – Krystian Czeszewski, Polina Holoborodko, Klaudia Tarasiewicz, Kacper Kolańczyk,
    • Silver – women’s 4×50 freestyle relay – Karolina Faszczewska, Milena Możdżan, Polina Holoborodko, Klaudia Tarasiewicz,
    • Bronze – Klaudia Tarasiewicz – 200 backstroke,
    • Bronze – Kacper Kolańczyk – 50 freestyle,
    • Bronze – Milena Możdżan – 100 individual medley,
    • Bronze – men’s 4×50 freestyle relay – Kacper Krasiński, Illia Billy, Patryk Surdyk, Mateusz Grabski.

    Klaudia Tarasiewicz achieved an unprecedented feat, bringing 8 medals to Szczecin.
    In the team classification, both women and men from the University of Szczecin were placed 5th in the general category and third in the universities category.
