The University of Szczecin hosted representatives of Na’amat Education Network (Israel) and Bayerischer Jugendring (Germany) to talk about joint intercultural student initiatives.

The meeting aimed to get to know the partners better and gave an opportunity to discuss the needs of our students and the future in which intercultural activities will play a key role. With the organizational and financial support of the Polish-German Youth Cooperation, the first project is planned, which will create opportunities for students to participate in study visits to an educational institution near Munich.
Na’amat Education Network is committed to providing educational opportunities in Israel through day care, high school and academic scholarships for youth pursuing higher education degrees. Na’amat is also the largest women’s organization in Israel, spearheading the improvement of the lives of millions of women, children and families.
Bayerischer Jugendring acts as a central contact partner for all matters related to youth work. They provide, among others, advisory services for international youth work organizations and organize international school and youth exchange programs.

The University of Szczecin was represented by dr hab. Katarzyna Kotarska, prof. US, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and dr Barbara Żakowska of the Institute of Pedagogy, a coordinator of students intercultural integration.
