The University of Szczecin has joined Science Against the Pandemic Initiative. This action brings together experts from the scientific community, whose aim is to disseminate reliable information on vaccination against COVID-19 and innovative technologies used in vaccines.
Science Against the Pandemic is focused on:
- Spreading verified and factual knowledge about vaccination against COVID-19;
- Educating on the use of innovative technologies in vaccination against COVID-19;
- Providing reliable information to the representatives of the medical community, the media and the general public;
- Supporting all initiatives that promote informed consent of as many members of the society as possible to vaccination.
Assoc. Prof. Paulina Niedźwiedzka-Rystwej, Prof. of the University of Szczecin is the ambassador of the initiative on behalf of the University of Szczecin. She is a leader of the team of experimental immunology and immunobiology of infectious and neoplastic diseases at the Institute of Biology of the University of Szczecin.
