On 27 January 2023, the Media Education and Interactivity Center hosted the official inauguration of the TV studio and lab. The event was attended by prof. Waldemar Tarczyński, Rector of the University of Szczecin together with members of the Rector’s College, directors of institutes, deans of faculties, lecturers, administrative staff and students. The special guest was Beata Tadla – radio and television journalist. The broadcast of the event could be watched online.
The tasks of the studio, headed by Beata Mikołajewska-Wieczorek – deputy director of Center, include, among others: conducting television activities, preparing audiovisual materials or organizing the television production process. It is here that students of the University of Szczecin will learn the secrets of the work of a TV journalist, stand behind the camera or learn editing.
