We are pleased to announce that dr Sylwia Kowalska, assistant professor at the Institute of Management at the University of Szczecin, was honored by the international jury of the European Friedrich-List-Prize 2024 with an award for her doctoral thesis entitled “Road toll as a tool for intermodal shifts in freight transport”, written under the supervision of prof. dr hab. Elżbieta Załoga and dr inż. Arkadiusz Drewnowski.
This prestigious distinction is awarded by the European Platform of Transport Sciences (EPTS Foundation e.V.) – a European organization promoting scientific research in the field of transport. The award is an expression of appreciation for scientists whose doctoral thesis makes a significant contribution to the development of transport research. Dr Sylwia Kowalska was awarded on 17 September 2024, during the 22nd European Transport Congress.
