The Professional Summer Camp is a unique event aimed at secondary school students. The second edition of the project, organized by the Marshal’s Office of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. The aim of the Summer Camp is to match vocational education to the requirements that the labor market places on young people.
During the event, two-day workshops for young people will be led by the academic staff of the University of Szczecin and employees of the Recruitment Office and the Academic Career Office of the University of Szczecin. The organizers also want every student to have equal opportunities in access to development and acquisition of key competences. The undoubted advantage of the project is the innovative and practical approach to preparing young people for a conscious choice of career path and active participation in the dynamically changing labor market.
Recruitment for the second edition of the program took place from December 6 to 20, 2024. In the “Kręci mnie to” competition, the jury selected 26 best teams from 812 students from 37 schools who submitted 60 competition works. The second edition of the Professional Summer Camp is even more inspiring workshops, practical classes and meetings with professionals who will share their knowledge and experience. It is an opportunity to develop your skills, learn the secrets of various industries and prepare for a future career. The program includes, among others, constructing a vision of the future by creating a dream map, workshops teaching group cooperation, creative thinking and breaking the established patterns in approaching professional and life problems and challenges. The Professional Summer Camp 2025 takes place at Bel Mare and Aqua Resort in Międzyzdroje.
