
The University of Szczecin, the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, and Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz have signed a research cooperation agreement establishing the University Network on Sustainable Development Law.
The research goal of the Network is to conduct joint interdisciplinary research on sustainable development law in areas such as environmental law, public and private economic law, and human rights.These goals are achieved through joint research projects, joint scientific seminars, and the ongoing exchange of information and research results. The network enables the development of higher-quality research and teaching. The agreement is implemented by the organizational units of the respective parties. At the University of Szczecin, the network coordinator is dr hab. Anna Barczak, prof. US, Head of the Environmental Law Research Team.
Scientific and organizational activities within the Network are carried out by employees of the Department of Economic Law and Commercial Law of the Environmental Law Laboratory of the University of Warmia and Mazury, the Research Team of Environmental Protection Law of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Szczecin, the Department of Environmental Protection Law and Public Economic Law of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Nicolaus Copernicus University, the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure, and the Department of Economic and Financial Law of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.
