We are pleased to announce the new opportunities offered by the Cambridge University Press 2026 Open Publishing Programme, free of charge. This involves sharing data without APCs (Article Processing Charges). The aim is to support researchers in freely sharing their research results through the Open Access model – both in hybrid journals and those designated as GOLD OA, which are part of the prestigious FULL collection. The programme is intended for corresponding authors – affiliated with the University of Szczecin in 2026 – with no limits on the number of articles submitted.

    How to proceed?

    1. Article Submission. Authors who submit their article for review should provide their institutional affiliation, for example, by using their ORCID ID. We also recommend using their institutional email address to facilitate institutional verification.
    2. Article Acceptance. After the article has been reviewed and accepted by the journal’s editorial team, the author will receive an email with a link to the forms necessary to prepare the license agreement.
    3. Selecting an Open Access License. In the “Open Access Articles” section, select the appropriate form and specify the Creative Commons license type.
    4. The form type depends on the copyright. If the copyright to the publication belongs to the author(s), they select the appropriate form. If the copyright belongs to the institution (employer), they should select the form provided for this purpose.
    5. Finalization and Publication. After the author completes and submits the form, the article will be submitted to the program coordinator for approval. Once this process is complete, the author will receive an email confirming that their article will be published openly.
