The PASIEKA TV Platform has been launched. This is a unique project of the IMMUNO Apiary, carried out under the supervision of the Center for Experimental Immunology and Immunobiology of Infectious and Cancer Diseases of the University of Szczecin.
Thanks to specially installed cameras in the IMMUNO Apiary, including one placed inside the hive, everyone can now watch the life of bees live – without the risk of being stung. The PASIEKA TV platform is a great opportunity to learn more about the secrets of the bee community – from the organization of work in the hive to the daily interactions of these extraordinary insects. It is also an excellent educational tool for pupils, students and scientists who want to explore the knowledge of bees in practice.
The IMMUNO Apiary was established in March 2022 on the premises of the manor and park complex in Kulice, where the MOBI of the University of Szczecin is located. The apiary consists of six hives, and the scientific care is provided by the Center for Experimental Immunology and Immunobiology of Infectious and Neoplastic Diseases of the US. The aim of the project is not only to breed bees, but also to conduct scientific research, ecological education and raise public awareness of the role of bees in preserving biodiversity.
We invite you to regularly follow the broadcasts on the PASIEKA TV Platform and to share your impressions. Let this innovative project become an inspiration for all those who love nature and want to actively support its protection.
