As part of an international cooperation agreement between the Faculty of Physical Education and Health of the University of Szczecin, and the Polish School in Cyprus, members of the research team “A Holistic Approach to Health and Physical Activity in People of Different Ages and Fitness Levels” participated in a conference entitled “Healthy Lifestyle as a Determinant of Public Health in the Human Life Cycle.”
The event was attended by dr hab. Marta Stępień-Słodkowska, prof. US – head of the research team, dr inż. Anna Krajewska-Pędzik, Eng., and mgr Adrian Struzik. The aim of the event, held in two locations: Paphos and Limassol, was to popularize scientific knowledge among the Polish and Cypriot communities of the Polish School in Cyprus. The conference also included workshops for children on healthy lifestyles. The event was held under the Honorary Patronage of the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Cyprus.
