Today marks the fourth anniversary of the outbreak of war in Ukraine. On this symbolic day, the academic community of the University of Szczecin wishes to reunite in expressing our deepest solidarity with the Ukrainian nation. For four years, the world has been observing your unwavering fight, dignity, and superhuman determination in defense of the highest values: freedom, independence, and the right to self-determination.
We extend special words of support to our students, doctoral candidates, and staff from Ukraine. We are full of admiration for your strength—for the fact that despite pain and uncertainty about the fate of your loved ones, you devote yourself to your studies and work with such passion, building the foundations for a better tomorrow. Your presence within the walls of our University is a constant lesson in courage and fortitude.
