April is autism awareness month, and the University of Szczecin is once again participating in this important effort. By supporting the Synergia Association and the “Dzieńdoberek” Therapeutic Centers initiative under the slogan #traininblue, our community promotes empathy and solidarity with people on the spectrum and their loved ones.
The campaign is a unique sports and social initiative that unites people around the idea of understanding autism through physical activity. Participants taking on the challenge on social media wear blue—the color, a symbol of autism, expresses solidarity and understanding of neurodiversity. Online training reports are linked under the hashtag #traininblue. This allows individual posts to form one large map of support, helping to collectively promote this important topic.
The University of Szczecin authorities and the Student Government of the University of Szczecin also actively participated in these activities, with representatives training with dr hab. Katarzyna Kotarska, prof. US, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs.
