
On the occasion of the nationwide Senior Citizens’ Day, a games event called “Nieustannie aktywni” (Always Active) was held in Szczecin, organized in our city by the AZS University Club of the University of Szczecin. Among more than 20 teams, the Brydżyści team proved to be the best, beating the Amatorzy and Morsy teams to the podium.
On Friday, November 14, the weather was extremely rainy, but all planned activities were successfully carried out in the US hall at 40b Piastów Street. Before the competition, each participant received a starter pack and then took part in the competition, which consisted of solving logic puzzles, knowledge tests, as well as tests of motor skills, coordination, and sports cleverness. At the end, everyone received medals, diplomas, and certificates of completion of the games, and 12 lucky participants won gift vouchers. Afterwards, the participants met at a party, where the social aspect of the event proved to be no less important.
One hundred seniors took part in the event in Szczecin, which was financed by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism and the Helena Konopacka Lotto Foundation, and held under the auspices of the Academic Sports Association
