The International Relations Department of the University of Szczecin hosted guests from the International Office of the University of Greifswald. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss strengthening existing cooperation, including through the Erasmus+ program, and exchanging best practices in internationalization.
The visit concluded with a tour of Szczecin, with a particular focus on the shared history of the Duchy of Pomerania. Guests were guided by Dr. Tomasz Duda, a licensed guide and employee of the Institute of Spatial Management and Socio-Economic Geography of the University of Szczecin.
The University of Greifswald is the oldest international partner of the University of Szczecin, with a cooperation agreement signed in 1985. Currently, the University of Szczecin and the University of Greifswald collaborate, among other things, within the regional network of universities on the Polish-German border, established in November 2025.
