    On 11 June 2026, the National Science Centre’s website published the ranking lists of research projects selected for funding under the OPUS 30+LAP/Weave calls for proposals. Among them were three projects on which the University of Szczecin will be working.

     

    The following projects have been selected for funding:

    1) Project title: “Werner Hasselblatt. The missing link in European minority policy. Between the protection of national minorities and Nazi population policy (1900–1950)”

    Project leader: Prof. Jörg Hackmann, PhD (Institute of History)

    Call: OPUS 30+LAP/Weave

    Founding amount: 760 205 zł

     

    2) Project title: “The impact of complex and overlapping extreme events on cliff coasts”

    Project leader: Dr Paweł Terefenko, Professor at the University of Szczecin (Institute of Marine and Environmental Sciences)

    Call: OPUS 30+LAP/Weave

    Founding amount: 711 260 zł

     

    3) Project title: “A new trace of global climate change in Arctic deltas: the genesis and evolution of the architecture of distributary networks (Deep-Arc)”

    Implementation: the project is being carried out by a consortium of organisations; the project leader is Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz

    Amount awarded for the entire project: 2,340,080 zł

    Amount awarded to the University of Szczecin: 159,944 zł
