The Institute of Marine and Environmental Sciences of the University of Szczecin invites you to the next meeting in the “Szczecin Marginal Seas Webinars” series. This internationally recognized initiative, dedicated to the multifaceted study of shelf seas, has been held continuously since March 2015.
The next seminar will take place on 21 May 2026, at 2:00 PM. The special guest will be Prof. Dr. Alar Rosentau from the Institute of Ecology and Earth Sciences at the University of Tartu. The main topic of the presentation will be relative sea level changes and the issue of submerged landscapes in the Baltic Sea.
The meeting will be held in a hybrid format: in-person at the Research and Educational Center for Natural Sciences at 16, Mickiewicza Street in Szczecin, and online via the MS Teams platform. The invitation is open to researchers, students, and all marine enthusiasts.
