
The International Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Szczecin in Kulice hosted an international conference entitled “Sustainable Tourism in Coastal Areas: Challenges for Port Cities and Local Coastal Communities”.
The event, organized as part of the MARE2 project, provides a platform for dialogue regarding the future of coastal cities and communities in the Polish-German border region. It focuses on analyzing how these destinations can utilize their unique cultural, spatial, and technological resources in tourism development processes. The discussion also covers issues related to strengthening local identity and creating conditions conducive to social integration and the long-term development of the region.
The conference will be held in Polish and English. Simultaneous translation is available.
