
The 3rd International Congress of Polish Language and Culture, organized by the University of Szczecin – Institute of Linguistics and the Institute of Literature and New Media, with the participation of the Centre for Research and International Promotion of the Polish Language, has concluded. It brought together a large group of Polish language specialists – not only from Poland but also from abroad.
The aim of the congress was to create a space for discussion around various aspects of Polish language, literature, and culture, to exchange experiences, and to integrate researchers from national and international research centers. Topics discussed included language learning by foreigners, in Polish schools and in mixed families, the impact of artificial intelligence on language, the penetration of Polish, and historical and youth forms of communication. Polish literature was also discussed.
The event was held under the honorary patronage of the Rector of the University of Szczecin, the Mayor of Szczecin, the Minister of Science and Higher Education, the Institute for the Development of the Polish Language, and the National Agency for Academic Exchange. A performance by the Szczecinianie Song and Dance Ensemble was also featured.
