38 people who demonstrated special achievements received the “Santander Awards for the academic community of the University of Szczecin 2023”. The financial resources are intended to support the winners in their personal and professional development. Almost 400 people applied for scholarships. The project was coordinated by the Academic Career Office of the University of Szczecin.
The ceremony was attended by prof. Waldemar Tarczyński – Rector of the University of Szczecin, dr hab. Katarzyna Kotarska, prof. US – Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Mr. Karol Kasprzyk – Branch Director of Santander Bank Polska and Mr. Marek Kozłowski – Manager of the Santander Universidades Branch.
The winners demonstrated achievements in areas such as:
- integration of the university environment,
- building the university’s identity and working for it,
- development of the university and its community,
- support for people who need help,
- implementation of the university’s social responsibility mission.
