A plenary meeting of the Conference of Rectors of Polish Universities (KRUP) was hosted by the University of Szczecin on 20 October 2023. Rectors and other representatives of public universities had the opportunity to discuss important issues related to the functioning of Polish higher education and science.
The aim of the Conference of Rectors of Polish Universities (KRUP), an autonomous assembly of rectors, is to strengthen cooperation between universities so that they can meet the challenges of today and the future. During the first meeting of the new academic year, the topics discussed included: economic analysis of public universities, principles of scientific research evaluation, the use of GPT Chat in the functioning of universities and academic rankings of universities. This meeting was a platform for exchanging ideas, experiences and joint planning of activities for the development of Polish higher education.
