    Caring for the safety and health of members of the academic community and general public,  another six buildings have been equipped with Automatic External Defibrillators (AED). The purchase of the devices was financed from the PZU preventive fund.AED is a medical device to analyze the heart rhythm and, if necessary, perform cardiac defibrillation. Thanks to its advanced design, anyone, even without medical education, can perform a safe defibrillation procedure in the event of cardiac arrest. It is planned to launch another edition of first aid training, which will also include the use of an AED. In previous editions, a large number of students and over 500 university employees benefited from the training.
    The AEDs currently are located in the following buildings of the University of Szczecin:
