    Wiktoria Guść and Anna Duda, students of the University of Szczecin, returned with medals from the Polish Academic Swimming Championships.

    The Polish Academic Swimming Championships took place on 27 – 29 March 2026, in Poznań. Nearly 1100 participants from 88 higher education institutions registered to compete.

    Wiktoria Guść, a student at the Faculty of Health and Physical Education and Health won the national academic champion title in the overall 200m individual medley. She defeated Marianna Rydyńska (Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz) and Wiktoria Radek (University of Physical Education in Warsaw). She also finished second in the 200m freestyle, winning a silver medal.

    Anna Duda from the same faculty also returned with a medal, winning bronze overall in the 100m butterfly.

    In the Universities category, the podium finishers were:

    • 1st place – Wiktoria Guść – 200m individual medley
    • 1st place – Wiktoria Guść – 200m freestyle
    • 2nd place – Anna Duda – 100m butterfly
    • 2nd place – Anna Duda – 200m butterfly
    • 2nd place – Anna Duda, Alicja Figas, Milena Możdżan, Wiktoria Guść – 4x50m freestyle (women)
    • 2nd place – Krystian Czeszewski, Anna Duda, Wiktoria Guść, Kacper Kolańczyk – 4x50m freestyle (women and men)
    • 3rd place – Krystian Czeszewski – 50m backstroke
    • 3rd place – Konrad Forgel, Mateusz Doktór, Jakub Szymanowski, Illia Bilyy – 4x50m freestyle (men)
    • 3rd place – Krystian Kempa, Jakub Aleksander Krystian Czeszewski, Kacper Kolańczyk – 4×50 medley (men)

    In the team classification, the University of Szczecin took third place in both the women’s and men’s categories.
