On 6-7 June 2025 we celebrated the University of Szczecin Days. On the first day, as is now tradition, the University Dictation took place, which gathered lovers of the Polish language, and a day later, the city center became a space for joint celebration and transformed into a colorful center of science, culture and fun.
During the festival prepared by the University, employees, students and residents of Szczecin could take part in numerous attractions, competitions and scientific shows. You could observe living organisms under a binocular, learn interesting facts about history and law, taste regional dishes, take part in language and sensory games, admire musical performances, and also try your hand at a rowing ergometer. We were visited by almost a thousand people.
As part of the event, the second edition of the West Pomeranian Science Forum was also held, where there was no shortage of inspiring talks with young scientists and practitioners. Participants could listen to, among others, about the challenges of doctoral students, the activities of the Law Clinic, the phenomenon of “Quiet Quitting” and the research expedition to Rwanda.
We would like to thank all employees involved in the organization of the Days and everyone who took part in our events for their presence and the fun together. We wish the University of Szczecin Days to become a permanent part of the Szczecin events calendar.
