
The University of Szczecin student teams took part in the national finals of the Project Management Championship (PMC) competition and one of them won first place in this year’s edition.The PMC competition is focused on solving case studies about Sustainable Technology Hub for Startups.
The teams were tasked with preparing full project documentation, which included business justification and project objectives, analysis of the environment, stakeholders and risk, as well as dividing the project into work packages and tasks, which were then presented on a Gantt chart.
The team from the University of Szczecin, consisting of Anna Marszałek, Krzysztof Kosmala, Gabriela Mikiciuk and Wiktoria Sawula, won first place in this year’s edition of the competition. The team was appreciated for the high substantive level of the project documentation and outstanding internal cooperation. The second team from the University of Szczecin, consisting of Alicja Gromadzka, Adrianna Rodak, Dominik Nocoń and Filip Nocoń, took fourth place. Students who participated in the PMC competition work in the Project Science Club under the supervision of dr Joanna Rzempała.
The winning team will take part in the world finals of the PMC competition in June in Warsaw. The event will be attended by teams from over 10 countries.
