The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has published the recruitment results for the academic year 2024/2025 at universities supervised by the Minister of Science. We are pleased to announce that the University of Szczecin took 13th place in the ranking of the most frequently chosen universities by candidates for studies and was distinguished as the only university from the West Pomerania.This ranking is based on the total number of students accepted for full-time first-cycle studies and long-cycle studies.
This success was due to several key factors. Firstly, a team promoting the educational offer of the University of Szczecin set up by the university’s authorities . This shows that concentrating activities in one area brings tangible results. Secondly, the involvement of institutes and faculties, which organize numerous promotional events, is of great importance. In addition, our teaching staff actively supports these activities by conducting classes for students as part of the offer addressed to schools – emphasizes dr hab. Katarzyna Kotarska, prof. US, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs.
The ranking was developed in the Department of University Organization, Education and Student Affairs of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, based on data from universities collected in the POL-on – Integrated Information System on Science and Higher Education.
