NiUS Radio is an Internet radio station of the University of Szczecin, operating as part of the Center for Media Education and Interactivity. The programming schedule includes programs in the field of science, culture and sport, as well as interviews and discussions with experts, and news from the life of our University. An integral element of the radio station is the portal, where you can find a multimedia library and an archive of the most interesting broadcasts and podcasts.
The radio team is made up of students from various faculties and lecturers of the University of Szczecin. Year by year, the number of international students people who pursue their academic ambitions at the University of Szczecin is increasing. Meeting their expectations, you will soon hear news in English and Russian on NiUS Radio. Nadia Spitsyna (in Russian) and Joanna Michalska (in English) will provide comprehensive information on what is happening in Szczecin and region, and above all at our University.
The Center for Media Education and Interactivity is operating in particular in the field of media communication by:
- enabling students and doctoral students to acquire cultural and professional competences in the media sphere,
- disseminating modern knowledge related to the fields of study and scientific disciplines at the University,
- supporting and educating professionals who use the latest media techniques in their work,
- promotion of the scientific and academic achievements of the University of Szczecin staff,
- increasing media awareness of the University’s employees,
- acting for local and regional communities development in the field of media communication.
