    The DITE team is very glad to announce that Report on Internationalisation of Teacher Education has been published. This report is a first step towards discovering and designing a universal model and guidelines for incorporating international components into education of future teachers. The report is co-authored by the researchers from the Institute of Pedagogy of the University of Szczecin. The DITE project is co-financed by the European Union under Cooperation partnerships in higher education 2021-1-PL01-KA220-HED-000031129.

    The DITE project is being implemented by the consortium of 6 institutions: University of Szczecin, Poland (a project leader) and Adam Mickiewicz University, Poland, University of Porto, Portugal, Rovira i Virgili University, Spain, Global Impact Institute, Czech Republic and SGroup – Universities in Europe.

    The report consists of 3 sections:

    1. review of the literature on internationalisation of teacher education with a special focus on internationalisation at home;
    2. description of the national systems of teacher education in Poland, Portugal, and Spain that are very often mentioned as a main barrier to internationalisation;
    3. our research that was carried out at four universities depicting the current state of internationalisation of teacher education at each of the institutions.
