A delegation representing the University of Szczecin met on 24 May 2022 in Erbil with representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Education in Kurdistan. Both parties exchanged letters regarding the accreditation of the University of Szczecin at the Ministry of Higher Education and Science, which enable unlimited cooperation with all Kurdistan universities.
Kurdistan, as a dynamically developing region with over several dozen universities, focuses on education and science in the international dimension. The meeting took place thanks to the invitation of Dr Fatih Cura, the Vice-Rector for Finance and Administration of the Tishk International University.
